You can now see my full Agent Zigzag publication online now here:
5th poster in the series complete, or maybe not. i literally changed the colour scheme completely 10 times, and im still not happy, but its making me die a bit inside every change i make so iv moved on!
Please let me know what you think, so i can decide to actually use it or not.
Cheers!
Churning posters out like a baws. I Unfortunately, i cant remember what outside is like anymore. There is only a few days left of this project, and when it finishes i’m going to start permanently living outside, to hopefully get rid of some serious square eyes.
Here is my ‘Double Cross’ poster, which i’ve just realised should actually be ‘Triple Cross’… Shit.
Apart from that though, i’m reasonably happy with how it has turned out! it was a long process to get the correct composition, as well as a colour pallet that i felt worked and was also different from all prior images within the Zigzag project.
This is a new poster design, within a series of six to accompany my book ‘Agent Zigzag’.
‘COVERT’ Poster in the Agent Zigzag series.
Iv been experimenting with some hand drawn type for the poster/postcard series i’m creating to go along with my Agent Zigzag project.
This image shows some of the stages that i’ve brought it through, and although not yet finished, the bottom image is close to final.
Im trying to find the balance between what is too rough vs too clean, as the idea is to have a hand crafted feel, but keeping to at a professional standard.
The white lettering on black remind me of chalk boards, which is quite nice too!
Let me know what you think.
This is the final cover design i’ve gone with for the Agent Zigzag book. I’ve taken inspiration from some of the classic 1950’s/60’s Penguin covers with regards to the layout and simplicity.
The tree pattern is the inside-cover design. I wanted something simple to fill this gap rather than keeping it blank. These trees crop up multiple times throughout the book, so they at least have some small visual relevance!
Im screen printing on monday, so fingers crossed that turns out ok! After that its printing the rest of the book and having a go at hand binding.
I have no idea how this will turn out, hopefully amaze-balls.
